How to Prepare for Your Abt Delivery

1. An adult of 18 years or older must be present to accept and sign off on the completed delivery. The person signing for delivery must be present for the duration of the visit. Delivery times may vary depending on the size of the order, appliance type and service level; please plan accordingly.
2. Please keep any pets in a secure and safe place. The delivery agents may be entering and exiting the home often to bring product in.
3. Please clear a complete pathway from the entrance to the location where appliances will be placed. Please make sure that snow is cleared from pathways and walkways. 
4. If you are having a replacement delivery for a refrigerator or dishwasher, please clear the original unit of any food, dishes, etc.
5. Once delivery occurs, please take a moment to inspect the model number, packaging and the product. Note any discrepancies while signing off on delivery. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the product condition or model, please contact Customer Service at 800-860-3577.

Same-day/Next-day Delivery

Fast delivery qualifying small and medium-sized items.

• These deliveries are completed in the PM
• Orders must be placed before 1pm to qualify for Same-day delivery
• 40 mile limit from Abt in Glenview, IL
• Size Limit:
  • 55-inch TV or smaller
  • AC's 10,000 BTU and smaller
  • 55 lbs or less (typically any Ups-able item is acceptable)
• No:
  • Floor Models (boxed or not)
  • Exchanges/Pickups or CODs
  • Time Requests
  • Businesses (Again these are PM deliveries)

Rapid Drop Off

Medium to large package delivery in the Chicagoland Area

• Local/Chicagoland Deliveries only
• Small under-counter type product
• Tv's 55" or greater
• Floor Models are allowed
• ALL CRMs move to Zone 100
• Max qty of 4 inventory items
• No:
  • Grills or Coin-op laundry
  • Installation or Labor
  • Split orders
  • Multiple tickets to the same customer or customer code on the same day

Dock Delivery

Includes:

• Delivery straight to the dock, no liftgate. The customer would be responsible for unloading the product.

Drop-Ship

Ships Direct from Vendor
This service depends on item and zip code availability. A variety of appliances and electronics qualify for this service. Enter your delivery zip code to check availability. Brands such as GE and Whirlpool offer installation on select Drop-Ship models and in select zip codes. For further information, please speak with one of our knowledgeable sales reps at 847-544-2394.

Threshold Delivery

Includes:

• Major market zip codes. Delivery of the packaged item to the garage or just inside the first threshold, such as an entryway or living room. This also includes external stairs leading up to the home.

Additional fees would apply for the following:

• Stairs (3rd floor and above)
• Haul-away of an old appliance
• Installation: plugging in a unit, changing the door swing, adding or removing parts, etc.

White Glove Delivery*

Includes:

• Ground delivery to the room of choice
• One flight of stairs inside the home
• Unboxing and setting the unit in place
• Removal of packaging

Additional fees would apply for the following:

• Stairs 3rd floor and above or elevators
• Haul-away of an old appliance
• Installation: plugging in a unit, changing the door swing, adding or removing parts, etc.

Nationwide Shipping

Free shipping is available on thousands of items. Exclusions and additional surcharges may apply. Please review the "Additional Fees & Surcharges" section for the full list of exclusions. To check whether your order qualifies for free shipping, enter your ZIP code when adding the item(s) to your cart on Abt.com. Expedited shipping on parcel items does not qualify for free shipping.

Additional Fees & Surcharges

The following are subject to additional fees and/or surcharges:

• Appliances weighing more than 300 lbs
• Deliveries requiring a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
• Remote locations, ferry deliveries, islands, etc.
• Stairs and/or elevators
• Dishwashers, washers, dryers, and under-counter refrigerators priced under $500.00.

ETAs

ETAs for your zip code will be listed on each product page. Remote areas, islands, etc., may have longer ETAs depending on agent availability.

PO Boxes & International

Abt can ship anywhere with the following exceptions:

• PO Boxes & Private Mailboxes
• Hotels & motels
• International addresses

Storage Facilities, and/or Secondary Locations

Abt can deliver to storage facilities as long as:

• The end customer is at the location to sign and review the packaging in person.
• Neither Abt nor our carriers are responsible for any damage and/or loss after an order has been delivered to a freight forwarder or storage facility.
• Abt will only accept returns or exchanges on any product(s) from the original delivery location.
• Abt can move purchased items from one location to another at an additional cost.

Storage fees will apply after 14 days from the order's arrival at the carrier’s hub.

Processing Time: In-Stock orders placed by 4 pm during business days are shipped out the same day.

Some products require additional transit time due to the location of delivery. For a more accurate estimated time of arrival, refer to the shipping date in the shopping cart.

Shipping & Delivery Days: Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

UPS Access Point

UPS Access Point locations are participating businesses in your neighborhood that offer a secure location to receive packages. They are an ideal delivery option for customers not at home to receive packages during standard delivery hours.
